Any tips or tricks for getting the best online airfares?

I’m flying from Denver to Minneapolis in about a month and I’ve been checking Expedia, priceline, etc but the cheapest rate I got was about $300 and I think I could get a lot better. Any ideas? I’m flexible about the airline and travel dates but would prefer not to do any connections.
