Rock bottom prices for some top hotels (Miami Herald)
There’s plenty of bad news on the travel front: Delta is eliminating direct flights between South Florida and Tallahassee, leaving American as the only carrier offering nonstop service. Low-cost carrier Zoom Airlines, which served Canada, Scotland, New York and the Caribben, has gone bust. Aer Lingus is in trouble, and as airlines cut capacity, airfares are headed skyward.
