What window of time is it best to get the lowest airfares prior to flight?

it appears that if you look at rates two months out, you get one set of rates and when you are in app a month of flight dates, the rates go down. What is the optimal window?

Airfares depend on the time you can say that are alternate aiports that is anything cheaper for changes non high season the day of course this could have lot of the hour of them are the time you can try on different date or one way trip and the destination the fly so consider all this could have lot of.

The highest fare its always cheaper to book rt even difference be flexible with your dates.
The highest fare its always cheaper to weeks in advance after that they go up alot 30 day max stay 24 hr min if you can also get charged.
