will airfares be getting generally lower over the next 6 months?

February 22, 2008 By: admin Category: airfares

chickeny_goodness asked:

I haven’t flown anywhere in a few years; airfares were low last time I traveled…I’ve been looking at prices for a trip I’ll be taking next June, and also another upcoming trip next august; the fares are so much higher than the last time I flew…has anyone heard anything about where airfare costs may be headed over the next 6 months? the last time i traveled, there were nothing but low fares…will that be happening again anytime soon?

For lower air fares are considered peak travel times as in may or september summer months are on the rise which will only translate into higher.

With the cost of gas skyrocketing, I doubt it very seriously. The cost of gas is always passed down to the consumers. I would suggest you make your reservations as soon as possible and maybe you will be a little ahead of the game!!!

    Good luck.

Airfares are bound to follow fuel prices in an ever upward.

Holiday time brings everything up in price. So yeah it probably will decrease. Then again, election time everything will be going haywire, a lot of ups and downs.
